XTO Energy: Star-Runner™ “Base” Model
XTO Energy, a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, is an American energy company, specializing in the drilling and production of unconventional oil and natural gas. They had a need for communications in remote, desolate locations. Because they already had a satellite system on hand, they purchased our Star-Runner™ “Base” system, which includes the entire enclosure, chassis, power system, wiring, and mounts. The customer then completes the installation of their satellite equipment once they receive the Star-Runner™. Now, with the completed Star-Runner™ satellite system, XTO Energy can utilize satellite back-haul in the most remote areas, to provide radio, Wi-Fi and cellular connections to their teams.
