Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabrication of a variety of components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This position requires proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Utilize controlled documentation for weld specifications to create clean and reliable products
· Mig/Spray Welding
· TIG Welding of aluminum and stainless parts
· Prep/Clean metal for weld
· Equipment troubleshooting/diagnostic/repair
· Equipment service/maintenance
· Post weld finish work – grind/rivet install
· Shop cleanup/organization
· Weld/fabrication custom fixtures/tools/etc
· Maintain materials in a safe and clean manner
· Ensure proper PPE is worn while safely operating equipment
· Validate welded part inventory level counts
· Manufacturing Order/MO closure in FishBowl or NetSuite ERP system at completion of welded subassemblies
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· High attention to detail
· Self-motivated and self-directed, able to meet objectives and timelines independently
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Basic mathematical aptitude
· Proficiency in Database Management software (Fishbowl/NetSuite)
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years previous welding experience required.
Current possession of or ability to obtain MIG/TIG certification (provided by Rescue 42).
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive motion for prolonged periods.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 15 pounds at times.
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
