Chico, CA – January 26, 2015
A woman was trapped in her vehicle for nearly an hour and seriously injured after she crashed her van into a guardrail on Highway 99 and ended up underneath the Eaton Road overpass.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Joslyn Watson, of Dallas, Texas was headed northbound on Highway 99 when she crashed into a guardrail around 1 a.m. Watson told police she believes she fell asleep.
The Dodge Van hit the guardrail and then a concrete pillar which supports the Eaton Road overcrossing. Watson was trapped in the van for nearly an hour, she was transported to Enloe Medical Center with major injuries.
