Ditch Rescue

We responded to the call of a rollover with a victim trapped inside. It was a convertible car that had rolled over into a concrete drainage ditch and was laying on its top. We used the Rescue 42 Jacks to lift the car about a foot in order to gain access to the doors. Once raised, we removed the doors and removed the patient.

The patient was released from the hospital that day. The driver fell asleep at the wheel and the vehicle left the road way, and according to police, went airborne for more than 70ft before rolling over and wedging the vehicle in the drainage ditch.
