This pick-up truck had veered off the exit ramp of SB Hwy at Arroyo Seco Road and rode up the guy wires for the utility pole. The driver was having a medical emergency. We stabilized the vehicle with two long struts and got someone in to assess the patient. Shortly afterward, a mutual aid company arrived and using one of our short and another long strut from them, we completed stabilization and extricated the patient.
