Chico, CA – March 12, 2015
Several people were seriously injured after a crash involving three vehicles closed Highway 99 at the Durham Pentz Road exit.
According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 1:40 p.m. a Mercury Grand Marquis traveling southbound on Highway 99 when it crossed over the median and into northbound traffic, where it collided with a Toyota SUV and a pickup truck.
The drivers of the Mercury and Toyota SUV suffered major injuries, while the passenger of the pickup truck was also injured.
Fortunately a baby girl in the Toyota and the driver of the pickup truck were uninjured.
