Ventura, CA – July 5, 2014

One person was airlifted to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center with severe injuries during a single-pickup accident along Balcom Canyon Road late this afternoon.

The pickup rolled over near South Mountain Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident was reported at 5:23 p.m.

The pickup was towed from the scene about 6:10 p.m. The rollover occurred east of Santa Paula and north of Moorpark.

The cause of the accident remained under investigation this evening.

The patrol was expected to release more information later.
