Chicago, IL – June 2015

Buffalo Grove firefighters were called to McHenry Road and the entrance to The Grove shopping center, for a two-car crash with one car on it’s side. Battalion 4 arrived and reported that two SUVs were involved with one partially hanging over an embankment into a drainage culvert. The two occupants of the car in the street refused treatment and the other two were entrapped and needed to be extricated. The car was stabilized with rescue jacks and tied off to the quint while tools were put to work on both sides of the vehicle.
